Getting Started

This guide walks you through connecting your wallet and playing your first PlayOrbs round.

Prerequisites​

Before you begin, you'll need:

  1. Solana Wallet: Phantom, Solflare, or any Solana-compatible wallet
  2. SOL Balance: Enough to cover entry fees + transaction costs (~0.001 SOL per tx)
  3. Game Client: Access via the official PlayOrbs interface

Connecting Your Wallet​

  1. Navigate to the PlayOrbs platform
  2. Click "Connect Wallet"
  3. Select your wallet provider
  4. Approve the connection

Your wallet address becomes your player identity throughout the game.

Your First Round​

Step 1: Choose a Tier​

Select a tier based on your risk tolerance and SOL balance. Lower tiers are recommended for new players while higher tiers offer bigger rewards for more competitive play. Check the game interface for current tier configurations.

Step 2: Join a Round​

  1. Click "Join" on your chosen tier
  2. Review the entry fee and round details
  3. Confirm the transaction in your wallet
  4. Wait for the transaction to complete

Step 3: Wait for Countdown​

Once minimum players join:

  • The countdown timer starts
  • Additional players can still join
  • Round begins when timer expires or max players reached

Step 4: Compete​

During the battle royale:

  • Your orb spawns in the arena
  • Collide with opponents to eliminate them
  • Break tethers to score kills
  • Survive as long as possible

Step 5: Collect Rewards​

After settlement:

  • Winners receive SOL prizes automatically
  • All players earn points based on performance
  • First 3 joiners may receive PORB emissions

Understanding Your Dashboard​

After connecting, you'll see:

  • Balance: Your SOL and PORB holdings
  • Stats: Rounds played, wins, kills
  • Season Points: Current season accumulation
  • Leaderboard Position: Your ranking

Tips for New Players​

  1. Start with Tier 0: Lower stakes while learning
  2. Watch the countdown: More players = bigger prize pool
  3. Check emission status: Being first to join has advantages
  4. Track your points: They accumulate for season rewards
  5. Set a referral link: Earn from players you invite
